Apartments are rented on a month-to-month basis with no large upfront fees or financial commitments. Every apartment at The Village is licensed by the Virginia Department of Social Services. The Village on Pheasant Ridge is managed by Harmony Senior Services. Harmony is a fully integrated management service company that currently manages three additional senior citizen living communities. Led by President Susan Eckert, who offers over 25 years of experience in the senior housing sector, every member of Harmony's management team has unique insight, perspective and understanding of the challenges facing seniors and their families today. With the flexibility of a small, hands-on management team, Harmony offers an opportunity for our residents and family members to have a direct line of communication.

Meet The Staff

David A. Beard, MA, LNHA
Executive Director
David is responsible for the overall operation of The Village; he comes from an extensive background in health services administration. David is retired from the US Navy Hospital Corps and has been in the long term care industry for over 16 years. He holds a BS in Health Care Administration from Southern Illinois University and a Masters of Art in Business Management from Webster University in St. Louis. David is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and Licensed Assisted Living Preceptor, he previously managed various Independent Living, Assisted Living and Nursing Homes in the Richmond and Roanoke areas. He was a founding Board member of the Bedford House (Community Hospice House) and past Treasurer of the Bedford Lions Club. David, his wife Chris and daughter Rebecca make their home in Bedford County. |
